Gran Turismo 2 is a sequel to the first version of the game, for the PlayStation console, only this time the game features 600 cars from 33 top manufacturers that could be driven on 28 tracks. The game comes on 2 discs. Disc one is the Simulation Disc, known as the Gran Turismo Mode, and the second one is called the Arcade Disc.

With Gran Turismo 2 almost anything is possible. There are a few things to avoid however. Fitting a turbo to a normally aspirated engine (that can’t be upgraded) can lead to some very un-carlike noises. The Toyota Prius does not seem too keen on having a transmission swap (if memory serves me correctly). I did finally make one with a 7 speed box though and also used the CVT from the Prius in some other cars.
